This is a working draft for our first season with partner bike parks. It is pending final review by our legal advisor and may change.
Who we are
TrailZone Bike operates the booking and coaching platform used by the bike parks listed in the app. Each bike park is responsible for the lessons it runs; we are responsible for the platform that stores your account.
What we collect
- Account details: name, nickname, email address, password (stored encrypted).
- Billing details you enter for receipts: address, tax code or VAT number, and for coaches the IBAN used for payouts.
- Booking records: courses, dates, participant numbers, prices and payment references.
- Coaching records: skill scores, homework and the feedback your coach writes for you.
- Optional location: your approximate home position, derived from your postcode or from your device when you allow it, used only to suggest the closest bike park.
Why we hold it
To run your bookings and the contract between you and the bike park, to send the service messages you asked for, to meet accounting obligations, and — only with your separate consent — to send you course news.
Who sees it
Your own bike park's office staff and your coach see what they need to run your lessons. Other riders never see your contact or billing details. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Account and coaching data for as long as your account is open. Invoicing records for the period Italian tax law requires, in anonymised form once you close your account.
Your rights
You can download everything we hold about you, correct it, withdraw marketing consent, or have your account erased — all from the Data privacy section of your profile settings. You may also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Questions about your data? Write to privacy@trailzone.bike — or manage everything yourself from your profile.
